U218 Singles es un disco recopilatorio de U2, que para la ocasión contiene 16 éxitos, más dos temas inéditos. Uno no lo es tanto, es una versión del The saints are coming, original del grupo escocés The Skids, y que hacen junto a Green Day. Ambos temas se grabaron en septiembre de 2006 en los estudios Abbey Road de Londres, con la producción de Rick Rubin.

Se publica en formato CD y LP (vinilo 12"). Asimismo en su salida inicial, hay disponible una edición limitada con bonus DVD cuyo contenido incluye 10 canciones grabadas en directo en Milan, Italia durante su gira Vertigo//05.
